However you’re all pissy at the mere mention of gender diversity because you incorrectly believe it’s synonymous with automatically hiring women over men to meet quotas.
Being passionate about something means you take the time to understand an issue properly.
Having mentored a lot of female and male colleagues, it might serve you well to take that bag of Smiths off your shoulders long enough to do some reading on the topic, or better yet, listen to some insights from a few women to gain some perspective.
If Fluence felt it was important enough to mention, then its obviously an issue that has been raised to them.
Hiring because of gender is sexism. Acknowledging gender diversity objectives and removing biases is not. End of story.
