I just had a quick conversation with the company secretary. Like Ronz, I don't want to overstep my boundary and say something that could land me or the company in hot water.
What I will say is that my initial belief that the claims made by FGF in the announcement require more clarification by the ASX was on the money. However, the inquiries made by the ASX do not revolve strictly around the line "YPB has received ASX approval to issue a digital currency token".
The company was hoping to come out of suspension today, however, it doesn't look likely considering the time of day. It really depends on whether the ASX require responses submitted by FGF to be further clarified.
The secretary also confirmed there will be no fines issued by the ASX.
All in all, I feel reassured and a lot more confident following my conversation with the company secretary.
The process of creating the YPB Token (YPT) should be completed by
mid-April2019 at which time YPB will provide further details to the market.
Assuming no changes are made to their plans to create the YPB Token, YPB Group will be the
first ASX-listed company to issue a digital currency token.
