Personally, I would rather have the information than not have it, but I do take it with a grain of salt given the past broken or too optimistic promises.
I can understand why the ASX has its rules, but find it hard to get too fussed about companies that are just trying to inform shareholders rather than intentionally mislead them. I think the arbitration result will tell me where in the spectrum AAU management is.
Personally, I would rather have the information than not have...
