I read an announcement like this and find it challenging to understand how all the electrical engineering work, power to run the servers, staff to oversee this and office space to house the servers can make it economic to mine $1.7m of bitcoin / ether. In addition, the price of the coins fluctuates considerably and as I understand the mining will become more and more difficult and yield reduced results as time progresses.
