Ann: Return of Capital, Buy Back and Company Secretary Appointmen, page-69

I'm with Interactive Brokers and around that date I noticed there was some noise wrt the 16c....i suspect that it was flagged in whatever corporate event system they used and the company/asx only pulled the capital return details out of that system quite late in the day.

what is frustrating @lexcorp is that they flagged the capital return on the 30th of August which was a few weeks after negotiating the sale of the services division.....if there was a clock it should have started back then. It seems that someone at the company or their accountant/lawyers either forgot to do anything and/or forgot to lodge/follow up on the form. It may not seem much of an issue, but 39m of shareholder funds sitting around for 1-2-3 mths extra not doing anything is a huge opportunity cost
