Buy back would have put a floor in the price and possibly forced shorters to have to exit positions.
I was never a fan of the dividend and capital return. I will possibly reinvest the dividend to achieve a similar outcome but waiting to see if the flog(s) on the register are/is trying to do a stop loss raid.
