    In that scenario can you book a capital loss?

    I must admit i've never held stock in a company that's gone down this path.

    I'm about 25% in the red overall.... so would have had a capital loss had i sold.... now i've got a fully franked divi and a return of capital....

    So just trying to piece it all together!
