just the last word on the franking. i had a look at it properly...........
Tax rate is 26% (tax rate is progressively going down for small companies). The 26% rate is mentioned on the ASX annoucement that deals soley with the dividend
Dividend is 5.55 cents. So the franking should be 5.55 x 26/74 = 1.95 cents.
Annoucement says the franking is 1.85 cents. So why the difference? I think whoever did the calc for the announcement just stuffed up. They got the calc wrong and did it based on a tax rate of 25%. This results in 1.95 cents as the answer.
So not only did they spell the word "franked" wrong in the announcement, I think they also got the numbers wrong. This is kind of scary seeing people are making investment decisons based on this information.
