yes i also received a little over half of the dividend. It's because we do not have our TFN registered here - https://www.investorserve.com.au/
So there is withholding or some other tax (even higher than tax on a fully franked dividend).
You will get it back when you do your tax based on your total income
e.g. if you were meant to get a $100k dividend, they will pay you about $53k. If you earn no other income that year you should have only paid about $25k in tax so you will be repaid $22k ($47k less $25k).
The people that got their full dividend will be paying more tax when tax is due. (the preferred option vs our delayed option)
