The Office of the Board of Investment released the Thailand Mineral Policy around August 2022 (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-thailand-mineral-policy.6877963/) - "PAM’s discussions with the BOI covered the recently approved Policy on Mining and Downstream Industry (Policy) and developments in the LIB and EV supply chain. The BOI responded positively and advised that it would support PAM’s projects."
There is now the National Mineral Management Policy Commission with the Mineral Management Master Plan No.2 to support designating Mining Zones and with Reung Kiet and Bang I Tum covered from the start.
Thai government support is clearly there but governments can be slow and bureaucratic.
Still waiting on the last assay results from the lab for Reung Kiet before the mineral resource model can be updated. There should hopefully be some more positive announcements in the next few months as Paul indicated
