    No, that is not the way it works.

    Any liability on a balance sheet has to be paid from Capital or Profits that's it end of story.

    Operating expenditure is a function of the Profit and Loss account and the net position makes its way to the balance sheet.

    As at June 30 the company has used capital to reduced debt by ~3m and used operating cashflow to pay down a further ~3m.
