Given just how generously YOW's directors and senior executives are remunerated [*], I strongly suspect that not only will the board reject a low bid, but - in order to maintain their lucrative positions for as long as possible - they'll fight tooth and nail to fend off even strong bids (!).
This looks to me like the classic case of a multi-year wealth transfer exercise, from the shareholders of the company, to it's executives.
