was merely saying if you use one premise to promote an argument and come up with a conclusion that is palatable. You might be able to use the same premise and come up with conclusion that maybe is unpalatable. If is true for A then why not B ?

Anything is possible but if it doesn't fit our belief lets discard it.
We all want to believe that this is the girl for us but love/lust or our biases blind us.
You never know if that girl you might consider dating has a lunatic for a husband or worse
a set of Salada crackers better than your own.
Proper due diligence may save some heartbreak.
The glass is neither empty or full it just is.
