Wandoan Battery mentioned on page 19... interesting that AGL claiming that it is operational using advanced algorithms... yet it has missed the peak shoulders by at least 30 mins on each occasion.
Absolutely need the 5.5Gw of storage at hopefully best LCOS... given recent increases in lithium - hopefully flow battery designs such as vanadium and zinc bromine may get a look in. Hydrogen is still a way down the road - but high levels of investment by FFI and co will help accelerate it.
