Auditor generally doesn't quit but they are asked to resign, which requires ASIC approval.
Could be any number of reasons, but possibly didn't like the current service that BDO were providing = as opposed to a direct conflict or any other contentious issue hence why ASIC gets involved. Also the appointment is ratified by SH's anyway at the next AGM.
