"10.41 tonnes spod gives 1 tonne LiOH"
Allowing for the fact that you are using nominal rounded molecular weights and that I incorrectly used 45% Li in Li2O, instead of the correct 46.5%, we are saying the same thing, namely
5.9 tonnes of 6% spod will make one tonne of LiOH.H2O
or
10.3 tonnes of 6% spod will make one tonne of LiOH (anhydrous)
The only question is whether when people throw around the term lithium hydroxide, do they really mean Lithium hyroxide monohydrate.
I am guessing that they do because it would take more energy to take the water out and why do it if you are only going to put it back in the end use.
