Hi Werona
Thanks for clarifying that, I was beginning to think you knew something locally that might potentially threaten Godolphin's ownership of the Narraburra resource, I now think that is not the case, however I do share your concerns about rare earths and mining acceptance in NSW generally and more specifically the LFB.
So to have a considered conversation is of benefit to all and it should be had.
Firstly, I think that we need to consider a few geopolitical matters, whether you accept them or not, is irrelevant, I think there is ample proof that the situation I am about to outline is real and unfolding as we speak.
China is the largest producer and refiner of rare earths by a very big margin, we can all agree with that.
China is also a part of the BRICKS countries, ( Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and they are creating a coalition with more countries in an attempt to bring in a kwazi gold and commodities backed standard financially. A repudiation of Modern Monetary Theory. (Unlimited currency printing resulting in currency devaluation and rising inflation)
Basically the BRICKS Ccountries and others have realised that if the US can place sanctions on Russia and try to close them down, then no country is safe. Additionally Canada placed banking lockouts onto the citizenry that participated and helped the trucker convoy protests recently. This is becoming a tool, (Financial Control)
Basically, many countries around the world are waking up and saying NO. This sets the scene for conflict and Western interests are dependent on critical supplies that could be cut off. Rare Earths are one such example.
The West needs to not only supply but refine its own rare earths because to not do so will place the West into potential critical shortage risks, supply can be turned off at any time at will.
We not only have to mine but refine rare earths, battery materials and commodity metals, it is that simple, the world is repositioning for real change and things are changing.
The US used to refine its rare earth needs but gave that technology to China decades ago, The US, the West and some others now need to return supply to more friendly secure sources and that is what I see happening.
I think Godolphin Resources is positioning for this very fast moving and evolving story.
I do believe that somewhere in Australia a Rare Earths processing plant will be built, not unlike a battery manufacturing GIGA factory.
The price will be the price to produce, it is a matter of national security for the West
