Amigos, there are a few factors which we can estimate about the possible resource of rare earths and rare metals at Narraburra. Firstly, the previous owners provided assay data on the top 50 m layer of oxidised soil/regolith.'To quote GRL: "The Project has a previously reported JORC 2004 compliant Inferred resource, by previous owner Capital Mining Limited(ASX: CMY) not the Company, of 73.2M tonnes at 1250g/t ZrO2, 327g/t REO, 146g/t Y2O3, 126g/t Nb2O5, 45g/t HfO2,54g/t Ga2O3 and 118 g/t Li2O." The resource is based on a granite-type pluton which is weathered near to the surface as shown below, and could have a depth of many hundreds of metres or even 1 km. The recent diamond drilling shows that the fresh rock of the upper surface of the pluton is mineralised. It is tempting to dream that the mineralisation could extend for hundrreds of metres in depth. What this guesswork suggests is that Narraburra could become a huge open-pit of very large dimensions. And if that is the case, a processing plant which is capable of producing commercial/economic product is on the cards. As well, the NSW Dept of Mining, Exploration and Mining has declared the central west, where Narraburra is located, is the focus for the States rare earth industry. In other words, an economic rare-earth project will be supported, my interpretation. I'd like to point out that takeover of GRL is very unlikely because there are enough keystone shareholders to kill it off (check out the takeover law - you need over 80% of shareholders to vote in agreement). The benefits of a new rare-earth industry to local country towns will be enoromous, IMO. For example, we can already see the impact of mining/processing at towns like Orange, Parkes, etc, which are booming because of mining/processing of gold-copper porphyry. Just compare the annual return of a 100ha property that is under cattle or sheep. It returns only about $25,000 to $50,000. Whereas a rare-earth mine/processing operation returns massively higher return to the company, locals businesses, workers, families, etc.
