I was part of a class action against a resource company about 12 years ago. It was about failure to disclose information. A lawyer was found with no up front payment, the claim was upheld after a lengthy legal battle, my losses were something like 50,000aud, after costs were subtracted my share was 250aud. I believe that’s pretty typical.
