    You spent a bit of time in this post (I appreciate that). I can see you still have some enthusiasm for BIT. As always, hope you have good luck ahead.

    I have to say that I am much more pessimistic. Looking at all the red flags and what the current situation implies for the company.
    Yes, could be a left field offer - maybe BP is waiting until they can offer a deal that BIT will not be in a position to refuse.

    However, I do believe now (I did not six months ago) that BIT has shot its bolt and is possibly 6 months away from folding.

    They don't seem to have an avenue for future research if they go it alone. They don't have the financial backing to engage in future research (again, if they go it alone) and, the lapsing of the options will put further downward pressure on the SP making fund raising even more difficult.

    I prefer George Orwell though - "everyone is equal......but some are more equal than others".
