I seem to have posted that the whole basis of giving anybody access to a public company's books is illegal because of the very same fact. You are giving an individual party insider information.
But it is allowed? Why? Because other part of the law says that you can. So the law makes exceptions.
So when I humbly suggested that scheme of arrangements should be banned? If anybody wants to make a take over let them bid on the market and take their chances like every body else. They come out of the wood work.
