But taking into consideration that the process plant is currently being upgraded with commissioning scheduled for later this year, then it would appear highly likely that open pit mining will occur, albeit delayed from the original timeline management had planned.

Yes the cost of the highway diversion has increased, but probably not enough to leave the best part of half a million oz in the ground at circa 2gm.

As alluded to in a recent video presentation, ALK has time on their side while they bed down the underground mining at Roswell and complete all the necessary upgrades above ground before they need to turn there attention to the open cut side of things.

I could be wrong.

At least when the updated LOM plans are released late this quarter we will all know where we stand without worrying about idle speculation.
