I agree. Dividend isn't announced. Even if you have paid $1.55 today, I think you should still get the dividend. Hence I thought people would just ram it up to around closer to $1.52.

I.e.
If API announced a dividend of 5c, WES will pay $1.50/share. If you pay $1.48 right now, you get paid $0.05 cents/share and get $1.50 for your share.
If API announce a dividend of 2c, WES will pay $1.53/share. If you pay $1.48 right now, you get paid $0.02 cents/share and get $1.53 for your share.

It would make sense this way as you can't expect WES to allow API to max out their dividend payment.

Hopefully my logic is right for this one, I usually sell out before the paperwork is done. However I wonder if everyone has played their cards. Looking at SOL tanking a bit, I think there are some people that think there is value in it. Hoping that WOW has a look too. Maybe it's wishful thinking but this is the time for M&A!
