l had a call back from EPN, and they stated that the offer is final unless another bidder emerges, which is pretty unlikely. so the sellers at 9c are taking the money and running on the basis that no further price increase is possible.
according to ASIC if they raise the offer they would be in breach of "misleading and deceptive conduct" clause relating to take over offers.
still no word from EDT - what are they doing ? cant expect them to accept the offer, which leaves us nowhere really. Mexican standoff !
