But I think FSS were actually serious about buying Opticomm though and then potentially take over Uniti if it went well to merge them...

FSS have experience in telco and had the $$ to fund the takeover themselves.

So I think the plan at the moment is to hope the stock price goes up so the scrib offer at the current low SP is worth a whole heap more when OPC vote on it...

This is still definitely a really good deal imo and there is definitely still growth and profit to be made with the synergy but it just means there is less now.
