It doesn't have to be the best of the best. It needs to be simple (drop in tech?) it doesn't even have improve current batteries by multiples. A 50% increase would be amazing.
If, and I mean if, we can do that without Panasonic etc having to disrupt production lines, we're away. But the battery companies wanted more data the last I heard so who knows?
