I do not recall which poster mentioned that there is a "success fee" payable to our advisers Greenhill and Co and UBS if this or another takeover goes through.
At the time I read that I was occupied with replying to other posts, but I want to get back to this as it is illogical, very likely completely false and in any event would require a person to have access to contractual arrangements between LTR and those companies. I ask how a takeover of LTR could be measured a success by our board who has repeatedly stated that we are going mining? Few people outside of the board and top management could know the terms of our adviser contracts. The advisers remuneration may indeed have performance thresholds, but equally they are just as likely imo to be simply paid on a retainer basis. Any performance threshold agreed by the board would be linked to the quality of advice given imo. In any event, I do not believe anyone on this forum would/could know, let alone assume there is a success fee payable if a takeover is consumated.
