Santos obviously believe Oil Search is undervalued or they wouldn't bid for it. It's about 10 years since Santos nearly went bust and quite a turnaround for them to be taking over Oil Search. I can't help but think one company has been run a whole let better than the other, so much so that Oil Search has surrendered.
