His figures are totally wrong. Why haven't you explained to him how dmtu works?
There is absolutely nothing in those figures thats correct.
The fact that E25 costs are double the sales price thats the real problem.
Doubling the output just increases losses more.
The improvement in ocean freight costs will improve the bottom line, but the production, staff and management cost + overheads is the killer.
So going forward at 30,000t/m for a quarter will equal a loss of A$5 million/quarter.
It will be in the red, not black.
