The fact that we are even having this discussion is a sign that management has dropped the ball. If you have bad news don’t try to hide it - explain what went wrong, why it happened, and most importantly what you are going to do to fix the problem. Front up, accept responsibility, and fix #$%#@ mess.
As far as I can determine through my own research the last 4C result was due to a combination of unlikely events and bad timing. The subsequent SP collapse was totally avoidable with a little humility from management. I am willing to give Justin another chance, but if I get even the slightest whiff of barnyard from now on in I am out of here.
