A Shocking Melbourne Cup day with the opportunity for enjoyment for all who joined in our rather special day that seems to rally most of the adult population into a single event, really super stuff.

Back to BBI/BEPPA, think about this:

BAM have been active with this buy-in for many, many months

This is a BIG deal for BAM, a feather in their cap for their own shareholders, so to speak

Just check out their web site re their proposed investment in BBI

BAM really are top-notch in their field of expertise

BAM need more infrustructure assets to balance their porfolio

BAMs own words "growing infrastructure asset base in US$ transforms Brookfields infrastructure platform and positions it as a leading infructure asset manager"

BAM have now agreed to give up entitlement to manage AET&D assets to BEPPA holders even though they are showing that AET&D aquisition made up 17% of the total BBI to their shareholders

Regardless how their valuation of AET&D is calculated ask yourself the question as to why they would give up 17% of the total BBI portfolio to BEPPA holders as of the 16th Nov.

Generally speaking, smart retail invest where the big money is to get the most leverage out of their own much smaller investment, so while no one has a crystal ball that spells out where this is all headed in 3 to 5 years down the track, it is all looking like it's headed north ATM. How long will this continue now into the future who would know but at least up until conversion date there is a carrot now dangling there for holders.

Maybe, just maybe, there could be a nice surprise in store for BEPPA holders once they are converted from the AET&D assts that were not in the original calculation for many of the current BEPPA holders.

Shocking turn of events ATM for those who sold BEPPA in September, but how were they to know that this would happen.

Maybe similar surprises to those who have placed big money in the CUP, some end up smiling and some don't.
