Ouch! this hurts. How can this be allowed to happen? Was in for a swing trade with a few pips with small win. Almost bought a 10k units a few mins prior to TH, counting myself lucky this time.

Feel the pain of those day traders, been there esp with cap raising.

Some trading advice when this open:

1. It will gap down quite substantially (>20%), hedge funds and shorters will ensure this will inflict as much pain as possible.
2. Don't bother shorting this - all the bad news would have been cooked in the price, you have to have quick hands if you intend to short as it will go down very quickly after open before a hard spring back past the opening price (generally 2-3mins), but drift lower for the day, catching those who think they got a bargain price.
3. Watch out for the next few trading days as it will drift lower.

If you intend to cut your losses selling at open is a better option.

Don't double down as you'll loose more. Been there, done that and you'll loose your capital very quickly.

Avoid catching the falling knife. Some times doing nothing and watching from sidelines is a much better solution.
