They really should be recovering it with WHIMS (Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separators) after the floatation to avoid double handling. But before tailings. It was investigated in an earlier feasibility. They are really starting the mine without it but I think it will become an option used as the move to low greenhouse gas iron becomes a reality. I.e cost for it becomes priced in.

The coarser grind with hydrosizing sizing in his UDFS may make a difference but I don't think so. I think the liberation size to free the magnetite is above that required for the flotation. Grind. We're just starting simple.
