check out this slide from investor presentation from back in June 2018 (share price was around 15c to 17c at the time)
at that time the company was valued at 0.8 US cents per pound of copper in the ground, whereas other companies were valued at 7 to 40 US cents.
If you assume the 7 US cents (or 10 AUD cents) per lb of copper the value would be: 2,000,000 tonnes of CU x 2200 lb per tonne x $ 0.10 = AUD440M market cap? i'm not sure whether the maths checks out. and there's lots of cap raising still required to get to production.
the other way to look at it, the EBITDA is AUD123m per annum x 15 years = AUD 1.845 BILLION in cashflow over the life of the mine, before interest (currently at historical lows)...
