The pilots and engineers are leaving in droves to greener pastures due to poor conditions. 10% of the saab pilots quit within a single week according to a few airline forums. They are exceeding expectations domestically but it will be interesting how long the crew will stick around while on the award where airlines in the US are paying up to 5x as much currently. Not to mention the chance most have to return to Virgin in the near future.
The elephant in the room is the ageing fleet of saabs. They're scrambling to find parts to keep the fleet going, with whispers of planes being bought from the US to be parted out. There's no money in the bank for a replacement.
