There are may reasons why i prefer regional flights with REX over that other carrier with the nasty CEO.

The SAAB is quieter and smoother than the DASH 8.
They fly at a lower ceiling making the view out of the window more enjoyable and a more closer feel of flying.
Better value for money.
I can book a single seat for myself(if booked early enough), feels like in a private plane
The small passenger number means less waiting time for disembarking and the checked baggage.
I have managed from standing up from my seat to my car with my baggage in less than 5 minutes in our regional airport.
It is like getting off a train.
Not a chance of that with a jet.

Checking in and all the tight security is of course an entirely different matter.
