VILLAGE Roadshow and its Chinese partner, Golden Harvest, have thrown an undisclosed amount of their corporate weight behind the planned listing of talent management and film production company RGM.
The Singapore-based RGM, which manages stars ranging from Rose Byrne and Cate Blanchett through to Anthony LaPaglia and Jesse Spencer, is in the throes of listing on the Australian Securities Exchange via the shell of Biosignal.

The jointly owned Golden Village has taken what RGM's co-chief executive, Devesh Chetty, described as a ''cornerstone investment'' in RGM, ahead of Biosignal buying the business.

Mr Chetty said the amount was confidential until Biosignal completes a $4 million share issue as part of the company's reinvention.

Shareholders get to vote on the transaction next month.
