You are on the right track there that is the way to make money if you find some thing in the ground the price will go up the secret is to sell and make small profit.
If you cannot get it out of the ground at a later stage the price will go down and money will be lost like most of us here.
Most SH are greedy and want more profit including me and invest in spec stocks hoping for a ten bagger.
Have a look at bank charts since 2008 always making a profit but slow progress better than term deposits with dividends reinvested but no security given.
You decide what risk you want to take how much can be lost.
