The biggest problem with DNA is that the tumor has to orginate from a specific gene. Unless you are test all of the sqillion genes then it will miss a lot of them. Colostat looks at proteins produced by the tumor itself. Broad based proteins that exist in almost all CRC tumors and increase in saturation as the tumor progresses.
Colostat is better at detection, its cheaper and the test can be analysed by standard lab equipment. None of the competition you are mentioning can meet any of these points.
