I do know he was involved in the Bald Hill project disaster that occurred Also go have a look at what is happening at KNB regarding freebees and options with a majority shareholder (DATT capital) not happy at all and wanting to kickout the free leechers.
Regarding Big Springs, it is my understanding and you can vouch for this, that it was initially the flagship project back in the day in which the company wanted to drill out further and build upon the existing resource. However the Golden Range project happened and the targets in particular in the Golden Corridor along the 70kms MSZ sheer and the rest as they say is history.
Nearby neighbours Jerrit Canyon is looking to restart the mine next year and in First Majestics last annual report they have allocated 30,000m for further drilling North (if I am not mistaken) for this year.
In my opinion wait until they start and interest peaks and then perhaps sell this asset for around $50m AUD to assist upgrades in the existing CIP plant.
