Hey Harry, we agree, there are lots of reasons to believe that further analysis of historical drill cores might result in significant advances regarding the antimony component of the Golden Corridor. And those advances should be relatively rapid and inexpensive in comparison with an actual drilling program, although of course a followup targeted drilling program will be required to confirm and define any knowledge gained from old cores.
On March 17, in the announcement titled "Wide Antimony Mineralisation at the Ricciardo Deposit", the reassaying of Historical pulp samples was revealed to have played a significant role in helping Warriedar define the extent and potential of the Ricciardio antimony endowment. So it is reasonable to assume that other stored historical drill core samples from other drilling programs, such as those from the Silverstone pit, in the Golden Corridor might prove to be of significant value to Warriedar once reassayed for antimony, “At very low cost."
The March 17 announcement contained the following statements =
“At very low cost, the re-assaying of the historical pulp samples has allowed us
to more fully define the sizeable and high-grade antimony potential at our flagship
Ricciardo deposit. These results will support our upcoming initial antimony MRE
declaration for Ricciardo, as well as guide further antimony-focussed drilling –
including along the broader ‘Golden Corridor’ at our Golden Range Project.”
And this = "Further antimony-dedicated evaluative work planned over coming months includes....Re-assaying of historical pulp samples from other gold deposits within the ‘Golden Corridor’to test for additional antimony potential."
On August 26th, 2024, in an earlier release, Amanda said "Given the relative absence of assaying for antimony in historical drilling at Golden Range, we are cautiously optimistic on the potential that might exist here."
Lower down, in the Aug. 16th announcement, there is this statement = "The presence of antimony has been noted by previous explorers at Ricciardo, but not meaningfully evaluated or pursued.'
And this = 'Re-assay of historical pulps may be required noting that only approximately 11% of historical drilling at Ricciardo was previously assayed for antimony.'
Clearly, there is a lot of existing Golden Corridor drill core not assayed yet for Antimony. At Riccardio, those cores have already proven to be worth their weight in gold.
