Hey HarryMoses
I bought into WA8 based on the gold, Amanda's credentials, the quality tenement package and location, existing infrastructure and haul roads, the proximity of quality gold operations, the limited drilling, the success of nearby gold companies who drilled deeper under old pits, the low valuation per proven AU ounce, and WA8's early and promising success in hitting gold with the drill bit in W.A. Although I see Big Springs as a valuable asset, I am far more interested in the W.A. prospects than those in Nevada. Like virtually all posters here, I would like to see BS monetised, and the cash spent on W.A. On the last point, I have been burned before by investing in companies who tried to juggle too many exploration packages, and overseas prospects increase sovereign risk and chew through the money faster than local prospects.
In answer to your question "as a shareholder are you more interested in the Antimony now rather than the Gold?...Should we spend the money focusing and drilling looking for higher grade Antimony or the Gold?" I guess like most of us, I'm still adjusting to the concept of the Antimony. I sort of have an unshakeable faith in gold, and feel secure in my investment in WA8 based on the gold. Gold has it's historical stable and reliable safe haven appeal. It's rock solid appeal to all of humanity. But the Antimony is an exciting addition. At first I was dubious of the mid-longer term demand and price stability of Antimony. But subsequent research has convinced me that at least the near and mid term (5 years or longer) demand and price support for Antimony will remain high. So for WA8, I see an opportunity for any further progress towards mining Antimony to be very supportive of the company. And due to the fact that the world is scrambling to find viable deposits of it, particularly in the west, and WA8 is a promising contender for a "Globally Significant Antimony Resource", I'm now fully on board with the pursuit of Antimony.
In a hypothetical scenario where the Antimony and Gold did not share a depositional relationship, and an exploration budget had to be split between the two, I would still prefer to focus on the gold in WA8's current position. Our gold exploration is at a much more advanced stage, and Amanda's team have demonstrated that they understand it's depositional characteristics and where to look for more of it, based on that understanding and knowledge. The Antimony is still in a much more speculative phase, and consequently assets allocated to the search for it are a riskier proposition. However, the Antimony MRE provides a platform for greater confidence that more will be found. Weighing the various factors, in this hypothetical scenario, I would probably favor about an 80/20 ratio of exploration assets for Gold/Antimony. If the Antimony exploration budget achieved desirable results, I would then reevaluate the ratio.
VERY FOTUNATELY, this hypothetical scenario seemingly does not currently apply to WA8's deposit. There is a depositional relationship between the gold and antimony. Without going back through reports to refresh my memory, I believe that our Geos have established that the gold and antimony basically followed the same pathways, at different stages, to reach their final seperate resting places. And Amanda has indicated that the current drilling program will target gold and antimony with each hole drilled. So I believe this indicates that based on the information our team have collected, they will position the drills strategically, and plot angles designed to intersect both targets consecutively. However, if it is a matter that aiming for the heart of one means missing the heart of the other, I am definitely in favor of sending some early arrows towards the heart of the antimony.
