Interesting.
Tassal would be all over the science of feed ingredients and understand exactly what they do and don't want to feed their fish. What fresh variable is there to consider? A change of supplier? Mmmmmmm. Maybe.
The statement makes no reference, yet I think Novacq is undergoing sea trials here. Both Tassal and Ridley need to know if it boosts fin fish growth as well as prawns and shrimp.
The Ridley presentation of 12 May says "Trialling Novacq on salmon in Q1 FY19" (p15). This looks like exactly that trial.
The trial runs until Dec 2020, about 18 months. I'm excited.
