Fair point. I'm just thinking out loud to be honest and I'm probably way off the mark. I just would have thought that the land value attached to any commodity would decline if the value of said underlying asset decreases in value, whatever that may be.
In saying that, if they are buying up undeveloped leases as they sell the developed ones the oil price becomes insignificant to an extent.
