Got a new battery for my abacus and I come to the conclusion that if PRX raise the amount they are aiming at, tax credits could be worth 1.459cps and in the case where they only raise $5.25m, then could be worth as much as 2.46cps. Figures based on 30% PRX tax rate and spending/tax loss of at least $5.25m which should not be hard when we have to find 30% for Lake Mackay exploration now.
Probably explains some selling recently, cash available to oversubscribe and take the tax credits. 8.2c - 2.46c = 5.74c effective price in best case. Even selling at 6.7c and participating in CR might break you even when tax credits are included.
I also gather from ATO that even if credits are not available this year, they carry forward to next year, so if any are available next year, those who subscribe this year get first dibs over any future raise applicants.
