Its possible IMO JAT management saw the manipulation happening on their SP in periods over the last year or so and thought this could be solved with a consolidation. In theory more large investment body's could be interested in a company with an SP above a penny stock and prevent manipulation.
In hindsight this still indicates an amature move by JAT in regard to SP price. As I've said before, a bit of positive publicity on JAT's achievements in Australia by JAT will boost SP faster than cappers can react.
Just as well JAT management is far better at business expansion and success than they are at shareholder relations.
IMO this will all just be a hiccup in SP we as holders could do without. It doesn't change the fundamentals for JAT the company, and a positive future for the SP eventually catching up with the company progress.
