Failure to achieve success for the CR is entirely understandable when NME have been forced by their business partner to act defensively for over a year and some matters remain before the courts.

Even though the courts will see recent voting behaviour as irrelevant to legal challenges before it, last weeks vote does ratify and show shareholder support at the levels being challenged.

Once court decisions have clarity, it's very likely I will revert to supporting future CR, as I have done for over 10 years.

After all, I believe in the "gold": project; and I also believe in opportunities that can present themselves when you have a clean balance sheet with no outstanding legal matters.
