correct me if i am wrong but the "ex' date is ex-entitlement so...

    correct me if i am wrong but the "ex' date is ex-entitlement so the last day to buy the shares for the entitlement and record day is the date on which they calculate what each shareholder is entitled to ie how many shares and options - the shares must be finalsed and registered in the name of the shareholder

    thats my take on it
