The “free” option will be trading as a different code, and can be bought and sold at whatever it’s worth from now until 29 Oct 2021. However, the owner of this “free” option can convert this to a normal share at 5c prior to 29 Oct 2021. So if MGT’s share price is worth 10c on the 29 Oct 2021, then you get a 10c share for 5c. However, if the MGT share price is worth 1c on the 29 Oct 2021, then no one is silly enough enough to pay 5c for a 1c share.
