I would've preferred them to use the money to help the Tasmanian devil. We have the stupid situation that vms are funding more than associations like stt to looking after the wildlife in the area. Vms have spent the last 6 years identifying the flora and fauna in the location.
so I chuck a question back to you.....well done to stt fighting the bigboys on technicality not actually the approval process.....and why has all this money not been used on research to protect this enviroment from other factors. Mining hasn't been the cause of facial tumours of the Tasmanian devil.....we have the perverse situation where they are free of the disease near mining.vms

....mining and conservation go together......have a look what BHP are doing around Olympic dam in regards to enviroment policy.....start with what they have done with the bilby. And ask why Scott Jordan's association blatantly lie in the purée to support their case....I refer to the last public release by Scott Jordan
